April Marcell is the CEO of Gibson&WhitePictures and has studied at Hollins University, B.A. in Theatre and Film May “11. April has had numerous plays produced, one includes her musical; God’s Eye, produced at New Millennium Studios. Another musical play; At the Table, was produced in Roanoke, VA at Patrick Henry High School.
Her feature film; No Weapon Shall Prosper, was picked up by Maverick Entertainment Group and is distributed worldwide. Her comedic short play; Out of Gas, was produced at Mill Mountain Theatre and is now a feature film which will be soon released 2015.
Gibson&WhitePictures specializes in editing for film of various categories, writing, directing, and producing for various films and plays. The company also gives classes for various theatrical and film needs. Gibson&WhitePictures also houses Bitty Entertainment which acts as a casting agent for various film and theatrical projects.
April is inspired by God and family. Her creative talents were handed down by her belated grandmother, Willie Marcell who was also a playwright. She also received inspiration from her other belated grandmother, Willie Mae a.k.a. “GaGa”.
GaGa was such a mentor and inspiration in April’s life that most of her characterization in her projects were birthed from her. GaGa also inspired April to create her own business; GaGa Productions which later became Gibson&WhitePictures. Gibson was her grandmother’s maiden name and White is April’s maiden name.
